PRIDE RACING FTL STEM
The Pride Racing stem is designed for BMX Race use. Neither TopLoad nor FrontLoad, the FTL is represented as a Front/Top Load stem. This part was made at the request of a top Pride Racing rider, Renaud Blanc. This stem allows lowering the handlebar position to make the bike even more responsive and playful. With its very low rise, it features a flat surface on the underside of the stem to avoid any contact with the frame's top tube in case of a fall. The stem is made of 6061-T6 aluminum, CNC machined from a single block. It uses M8 stainless steel bolts following DIN 912 standards.
The handlebar clamp surface is 48mm, providing rigidity during riding. This stem is also available in a 35mm length. The FTL is currently the shortest stem on the BMX Race market. Having a 35mm stem allows compensation for the top tube size. If you plan to change to a larger frame, and the Rider Area seems too big, you can compensate with a 35mm stem.
NOTE: You can also choose titanium bolts, saving 50g on the total stem weight.
